If im not using any credits from that school, will I still need to include those transcripts?

Ok here it is. I have an AA already and A year a A 4 year University. The year at the four year University, My stepdad died, along with 2 other prominent family members. My grades really suck. If I transfer to another Four year, Will I need to include grades from the previous four year? IF IM NOT USING THOSE CREDITS AT ALL?If im not using any credits from that school, will I still need to include those transcripts?
No you don't.

They ask you to send all, but they will only evaluate the credits from the schools that you send.

So you use the AA credits and just ignore the ones from the 4 year. You can also petition to have those credits removed from the records of the 4 year school if you are worried about it. It only requires a short form and a letter explaining the situation. They will remove it from all records. If im not using any credits from that school, will I still need to include those transcripts?
Usually it states that even if you didn't finish courses at a school but you were enrolled- that has to be sent to the college. If you are afraid you won't get in becuase of the grades- you can usually talk to the admissions counselor and write a letter explaining you circumstances. They understand that life happens- but you need to be upfront about it- letting them know that you have a plan to get through this college and that if other circumstances come up again in your life- you are better prepared to handle it and will talk with professors about it. I am sure they will understand-

Just a note- if they do find out about the other college and you didn't submit the transcripts- they usually have to right to revoke admissions to their college- find out the policy first but this is usually the case.
