I sent in a college application but my counselor did not include a transcript. Would a college take a faxed or emailed transcript? Its due in a few days and there is not time to mail it.Do colleges accept faxed transcripts?
Typically no. Some MAY take one faxed from a school but most do not because they need official copies. It may be in your best interest to try one of the following:
1. See if they take electronic transcripts from each other. Here in FL state institutions have an electronic way to transmit transcripts.
2. Pick up and drop off yourself
3. If the school you are going to is not local but the one you attended is, try picking up and then overnighting it through USPS (post office) its not that expensive...
4. If neither school is local to you, contact the school with your transcripts and see if they have an expedite service.
