When you go for an interview, do employers look at your transcripts?

does it affect you if you didn't do good in one semester? When you go for an interview, do employers look at your transcripts?
It depends on the job you're looking for. Some employers look at your transcript, some just look for verification that you went to school. Depends on your field though. And if it's only one semester that you didn't do so well, then I doubt that would be much of a problem. When you go for an interview, do employers look at your transcripts?
I have been to many interviews, and never once have I been asked to provide my transcripts. I wouldn't worry about your performance one semester as long as your overall GPA is good.
some employers do, some don't.

you need to be prepared to explain what happened that semester.
If you only did poorly in one semester you will be lucky if they look at your transcript and then perhaps you can explain it. If they look at your GPA and it is affected a lot you might have lost the job. For the most part I don't think they look at all, but if you lie about it then you will never be hired by that company if they find out.
Most don't, and they never have in my experience. And also, even if you didn't do that well one semester it's ok - you can't excel in every subject!
Some do and some don't. Just be cool about it and answer whatever they ask.
In most cases no. Depending on the size and environment of the company, they may look further into your past. It really depends on the industry and company. But I would say that 1 or 2 bad semesters won't ruin your chances of getting hired. Just be confident and positive, and you're sure to do alright.
