If I take a non-credit course next semester, will any other institutions be able to see that I completed the course, or will I have to treat it like an extra-curricular event and save it for my resume?Do non-credit college courses appear on your transcripts?
They typically show it on the transcript with ';zero'; for the number of credits earned toward your degree. It looks good there if your grade is high.Do non-credit college courses appear on your transcripts?
I think everything appears. In my school, I took for first quarter only ESL classes that have no credits and today there are shown together with undergraduate credit classes.
You don't put your transcripts on your resume but these classes would most likely be on your transcript unless you transfer to another college. Also, if you do transfer then those courses probably wouldn't count.
Non-credit courses do not appear on your official college transcript. You can, however, receive a listing of non-credit courses completed from the continuing education department at the college where you completed the classs. It is called a CEU report and most colleges will be more than happy to provide you with the report.
It depends on the university. Some may have all classes taken showing on the transcript, some may have a separate transcript for non credit classes and continuing ed classes.
