Submitting transcripts after application?

The application for the school I am applying to is due on the 2nd, and it says :

JAN 10 Submission deadline for School Forms (transcripts, recommendations, etc.)

My school doesn't get back in until the 6th, so I can't even tell my counselor what I need until then. What happens if its postmarked by the 10th, will they still accept it?Submitting transcripts after application?
I'm not too sure, but they probably should. It wouldn't be your fault if your counselor couldn't get it in on time, or it took longer in the mail. Just make sure to have your counselor send it as soon as possible.Submitting transcripts after application?
Maybe if they are lenient they will accept it. The Jan. 10 is NOT a postmark deadline, but an in-office deadline.

But seriously, these school forms have been around for months and putting pressure on your counselor and teachers to do it quickly is a bit rude.

My counselor took a day to do the forms, so you should be alright if you ask the morning of the 6th and send it by 1-2 day express mail. The teacher recommendations are almost always online, so they can be done quickly too. Just get everything out by AT LEAST the 8th, and you should be alright.
